In 2012, PSA Singapore Terminals handled 31.26 million TEUs of containers. World's Busiest Transhipment Hub – about one-seventh of the world's total container transhipment throughput, and 5% of global container throughput. One of the World's Largest Refrigerated Container (Reefer) Ports – over 7,000 reefer points; handled about 1.44 million TEUs of reefers in 2012. Excellent Connectivity - to 600 ports globally. This includes daily sailings to every major port in the world. Accolades - voted the "Best Container Terminal (Asia)" for the 23rd time at the 2012 Asian Freight & Supply Chain Awards, and "Port Operator Award" at the Lloyd's List Awards, Asia for the 12th time in 2012. Strong Partnerships with Unions PSA’s staff are represented by the Singapore Port Workers Union and the Port Officers' Union. Both unions enjoy a close relationship with PSA's management. The strong partnerships, forged over years of cooperation and through constant dialogue, seek to improve productivity and efficiency of port personnel to enhance business growth.
