the Container Services Department was set up to provide
value-added services in the handling of specialised
cargo, such as hazardous chemicals and refrigerated
cargo.
With efficient and reliable
services provided by the team at the Container Services
Department, customers can be rest assured that their
specialised cargo are in professional care.
The Container Services
Department offers the following services:
ReeferCare:
provides 24-hour technical support to ensure smooth
operations of refrigerated containers (reefers) and
regular monitoring of temperatures to ensure the integrity
of the cargo, as well as maintenance and repair functions
including the supply of spare parts and services. Value-added
services such as “controlled atmosphere”
services, downloading of data from datelogger, etc are
also available to meet the needs of customers.
ChemCare:
Provides professional care of “Dangerous Goods
(DG) at the terminals. It includes the classification
and monitoring of DGs, quantitative risk analysis and
other services such as fumigation, DG storage, labelling
and reworking of leaking DG containers.
BoxCare:
Ondock facilities providing full range of container
depot services such as pre-trip inspection (PTI) for
reefers, container survey, repair and washing.
