PSA's Multi-Purpose Terminals (MPT), comprising Pasir Panjang Wharves (PPW) and Sembawang Wharves (SW), provides a host of port-related logistics solutions.
The wharves handle over 18 million tonnes
of break-bulk cargo, specialized cargo and vehicles
annually, as well as value-adding logistics services
for a wide range of cargo types from containers, heavy
equipment, project cargo, vehicles, steelworks to traditional
bagged and palletised commodities.
Our berths are able to accommodate a wide
range of vessels, from small crafts and coasters to
conventional and semi-container vessels, as well as
RoRo and Pure Car Carriers.
MPT offers long and short-term warehousing and open storage space, allowing different logistical works from packing and unpacking of containers, container storage, sorting of goods and products to handling of bulk project cargo. Located in the Free Trade Zone, our warehouses are ideal locations for customers to set up their Consolidated Distribution Centres (CDC) for the consolidation and distribution of goods or parts.
We also provide dedicated berths
and open storage yard for the handling of our customers'
local, transhipment and re-export cars. Over 1 million
vehicles pass through MPT yearly.
