REEFERCARE

PSA Singapore Terminals is the world’s largest refrigerated container (reefer) port, with about 4,900 reefer points spread out amongst its four container terminals. In 2006, PSA ReeferCare handled 487 000 reefer TEUs through the Port of Singapore. Reefer volume handled by ReeferCare increased 28% over the last 3 years.

ReeferCare is supported by a team of 60 competent and well-trained technicians. Our purpose-built reefer platforms provides a good infrastructure for electricity cabling and allows staff easy access to attend to plug-in and plug-out operations and reefer containers which require immediate attention.

A reliable power source ensures uninterrupted supply of electricity to ensure highest cargo integrity.

Technical services is available round-the-clock to attend to the needs whether the reefer is onboard the ship berthed at the terminal or lying at the reefer yard.

ReeferCare is capable of handling all types of refrigerated cargo from around the world. We have the capability to provide specialised services such as controlled atmosphere or nitrogen inject.

Our Integrated Reefer Monitoring System (iRMS) takes pride in ensuring timely and accurate flow of information to and from all stakeholders. Linked to our Computerised Integrated Terminal Operations System (CITOS), iRMS allows information to be tracked at each stage of the operations, on an online basis in real time. Customers are able to monitor the status of their reefer boxes anywhere in the world via internet access.
